When shipping convoys in and out of Imperial space were attacked, in a false-flag operation organized by Moff [[Kurlen Flennic]] to sabotage the peace between the [[Imperial Remnant]] and the [[Galactic Federation of Free Alliances|Galactic Alliance]], Flennic ordered Ardiff and the ''Dominion'' to patrol the Imperial border.<ref>''[[Attrition]]''</ref>
