As [[Ovolot Qail Uthan|Dr. Uthan]] and [[Mij Gilamar]] developed a cure for clones' accelerated aging, Scout embraced a role as an all-purpose runner helping the doctors fetch supplies and delivering reports to [[Kal Skirata]]. She saw Ovolot and Mij as parents she'd never known, and planned to stay with them while continuing to seek the Jedi path. However, [[Kyrimorut]] was [[Destruction of Kyrimorut|attacked]] the next morning, and she fled aboard the ''[[Aay'han]]'' after using her lightsaber to protect others from blaster bolts and slicing a [[Death Watch]] warrior in two.<ref name=":0">[[Twilight of the Jedi I: The Dying Day]]</ref>

[[Clan Skirata]] rendezvoused aboard the ''[[Chu'unthor]]'' with [[Djinn Altis]], where Scout stayed during the [[Destruction of Plett's Well|mission to evacuate Belsavis]]. She remained aboard when Altis took the ship to [[Bavinyar]] to evacuate its civilians, and she joined a battle meld led by [[Kina Ha]] which allowed her to help organize the loading of the displaced civilians onto the ship.<ref name=":0" /> Afterwards, she expressed interest in staying with Altis, although he was contemplating scattering. In her time in [[Kyrimorut]], Scout had a routine of practicing lightsaber combat with [[Bardan Jusik]] before breakfast, then spending the day with [[Ovolot Qail Uthan]] and [[Mij Gillmar]] in their lab. After killing a [[Death Watch]] warrior during the [[Destruction of Kyrimorut]], she resolved that she didn't want to kill ever again, but hoped to keep following the Jedi path.<ref name=":0" />
