== Biography ==

=== Battle of Endor ===
At the Battle of Endor, Phennir flew with the [[181st Imperial Fighter Wing]] as Blue One, under the command of General Baron [[Soontir Fel]]. Together with Fel as well as Blue and Silver Squadron, he attacked the fighter screen of the Mon Calamari cruiser ''[[Serenity (Mon Calamari cruiser)|Serenity]]'' as it engaged the ISDs ''[[Chimaera]]'' and ''[[Liberator (Imperial I-class)|Adjudicator]]''. Phennir was pursuing an A-wing piloted by [[Tycho Celchu]] when the [[Death Star II|Death Star]] exploded and Fel ordered the 181st to fall back.<ref name=":0">[[Attrition|''Attrition'']]</ref>

In the hopes of rebuilding a strong new [[Galactic Empire|Empire]], Phennir took the 181st from the service of one Imperial warlord after the other. He refused to serve under [[Grand Admiral]] [[Mitth'raw'nuruodo|Thrawn]] out of anti-alien bias, and only came to serve under Admiral [[Gilad Pellaeon|Pellaeon]] after Admiral [[Natasi Daala|Daala]] had killed the remaining warlords in 12 ABY.<ref name=":0" />

=== Flennic conspiracy ===
In 37 ABY, Phennir, now retired from leading the 181st, attended the [[funeral of Garm Bel Iblis]] aboard ''[[Guardian (Executor-class)|Guardian]]'' in the [[Corellian system]] alongside [[Gilad Pellaeon]]. Phennir found the proceedings distasteful and left early, pretending he had appointments on [[Bastion]]. There, he visited the memorial to the fallen pilots of the 181st, and voiced his disapproval of Pellaeon's collaboration with the [[Galactic Federation of Free Alliances|Galactic Alliance]] while drinking with his friend [[Davit Belkaron]]. Soon after, Phennir met with the current commander of the 181st, [[Assyra Cyrillian]], who convinced him to join Moff [[Kurlen Flennic]]'s conspiracy to stir up anti-Galactic Alliance sentiment within the Empire and depose Pellaeon.<ref name=":0" />
