Eight months after the [[battle of Endor]], Devian was sparring with Arden Lyn in a training room on his planetoid [[RZ7-6113-23]] when Lyn suddenly lost focus and Devian was able to cut off her artificial arm. Devian was accosted by Lyn's lover [[Durrei]], but Lyn told Durrei to let it go. Devian was satisfied that he had been able to defeat Lyn despite his lack of Force-sensitivity.
