Eight months after the [[battle of Endor]], Merili was aboard [[Grand Admiral]] [[Peccati Syn|Syn]]'s Star Destroyer ''[[Silooth (Star Destroyer)|Silooth]]'' during the [[Liberation of Kashyyyk]]. Merili had earlier prophesied victory for the Empire, but when she had another vision telling her that reinforcements would not arrive, she realized she had been seeing a different time, further into the future. Moments after Moff [[Hindane Darcc]]'s shuttle was shot down on approach to ''Silooth'', Merili felt the reborn [[Palpatine|Emperor]]'s summons through the Force, and suddenly vanished shortly before ''Silooth'' was destroyed.<ref>''[[Empire of Ashes: Fear]]''</ref>
