=== Battle of Endor and aftermath ===
At the [[Battle of Endor]], Reige was a young lieutenant serving as bridge communications officer aboard the ISD ''[[Chimaera]]'' under Admiral [[Horst Strage]] and Captain Gilad Pellaeon. In this role, she received Grand Admiral [[Nial Declann|Declann]]'s last transmission from the [[Death Star II|second Death Star]], in which he gave Strage command of the fleet and ordered a full retreat. She also initiated Strage's transmission to the Imperial fleet in which he passed on these orders.

After the battle, Reige was assigned to a frigate that had lost its captain, and for a few months she had an intimate relationship with Gilad Pellaeon. The relationship ended amicably, and afterwards Reige and Pellaeon did not meet for three years. When they reconnected again after that time, Reige had a two-year-old son, whose paternity she kept to herself.<ref name=":0" />

By 12 ABY, Colonel Reige and Admiral Pellaeon had a good working relationship. Pellaeon assigned Reige the coordination of all naval intelligence operations during the [[Orinda campaign]]. In the run-up to the [[Battle of Obredaan]], Reige reported that [[Imperial Intelligence Service|Imperial Intelligence]] had no indication that the [[New Republic]] knew about the existence of the Star Dreadnoughts ''[[Dominion (Star Dreadnought)|Dominion]]'' or ''[[Megador]]''.<ref name=":0" />
