== Biography ==
The ambassador of [[Pendari]] to [[Coruscant]], the darksider Sa-Di was a member of [[Palpatine]]'s inner circle. When Palpatine returned to life on [[Byss]] eight months after the [[Battle of Endor]], Sa-Di immediately scheduled a flight to Byss after feeling Palpatine's summons through the Force.

On Byss, Sa-Di witnessed as Palpatine empowered an ensign with the dark side of the Force and named him [[Baddon Fass]]. Palpatine tasked Sa-Di with Fass's education and instructed them to soak up deaths on Coruscant and bring the life energies back to Byss.

Returning to his [[Pendarian embassy|skyhook]] on Coruscant, Sa-Di awaited the false [[Rajah Ubooki|Kadann]]'s attack on the planet and hosted a gala dinner with various members of the Coruscant high society in which they made plans to relocate in case of war. However, Sa-Di revealed to them that Kadann had been killed and the attack would not happen. To compensate Baddon Fass for the cancellation of the expected war, he took Fass to the Coruscant undercity and encouraged him to crack a load-bearing pillar. As a result, the [[Calocour Ocean]] cracked and drained into the undercity, causing mass death.

In the subsequent weeks, Fass committed seemingly random acts of mass destruction, aiming for maximum loss of life. When [[Sarcev Quest]], acting on [[Ysanne Isard]]'s behalf, asked Sa-Di if he knew anything about a darksider rampaging through Coruscant, Sa-Di readily admitted that it was his student Baddon Fass. However, he reassured Quest that they would be leaving for Byss momentarily, assuming that Quest too was serving Palpatine at this point. As a final act, Sa-Di activated the self-destruct program of his skyhook, crashing it into the surface of Coruscant as he and Fass departed.<ref>''[[Empire of Ashes: Fear]]''</ref>
