Ucce was part of the ruling [[Herdessan Guild]] on the planet of [[Herdessa]], where she was called "Lady Bountiful" by the populace for the gifts she bestowed on the families whose children she sold into slavery. After the Guild was overthrown in 4 ABY, Lady Ucce went into exile on [[Coruscant]], where she often attended the dinner parties hosted by Ambassador [[Sa-Di]] aboard his [[Pendarian embassy|skyhook]]. On one of those occasions, she told governor-in-exile [[Gerald Weizel]] that the revolt on Herdessa had been only a minor setback for her, as her business had been interplanetary for decades; and later she made her fellow dinner guest [[Aryn Dro Thul]] admit that her shipping company, [[Bornaryn Trading]], had profited from the liquidation of [[Xizor Transport Systems]] after the death of Prince [[Xizor]].<ref name=":0">''[[Empire of Ashes: Fear]]''</ref>
