The Meerian Mining Collective, also known as the MMC, was a corporation that employed many Meerians on Bandomeer. It was nationalized by the Galactic Republic during the 15th month of the Clone Wars based on accusations that it had secessionist influences.[1] Some of their equipment was appropriated for the war effort, being used to dig tunnels into Selbar.[1]
