Commodore Proth was an Imperial officer standing guard at one of the entrances of the Intergalactic Communications Center on Praesitlyn in late 5 ABY. When Jeng Droga demanded entrance, Proth attempted to turn him away despite Droga providing an Imperial Intelligence recognition code, but he relented after Droga choked him with the Force.[1]
