The Thomork system is an existing star system from Legends.[1]
In 5 ABY, Umak Leth created the first prototype World Devastator in the system, by refurbishing one of the Imperial Leviathans stationed there based on designs dreamed up by Triclops. When the prototype was successful, Palpatine's agents evacuated most of Thomork's residents to Byss and spread rumors of a plague in the Thomork system to cover up the successful test. Leth then dispatched the Leviathans remaining in the system as well as the prototype to Byss.[2]
