The Battle of Mindor is an existing battle from Legends.[1]
The near-death of Cronal at the Battle of Mindor was felt by the reborn Palpatine as well as by the Prophets of the Dark Side as an unexpected shift in the arrangement of possible futures, indicating a bottleneck of possibilities ahead.[2]
Palpatine sent Jeng Droga to find out what had happened to Cronal, and if possible to retrieve what remained of him. Droga traveled to Dagobah, where he ripped the information about the battle from the mind of Lorz Geptun before killing him.[2]
