Yavin 4, also spelled Yavin IV, is an existing moon from Legends.[1]
Eight months after the Battle of Endor, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 cleared out the Palace of the Woolamander for use by the New Republic.[2]
In 5 ABY, the false Kadann and Triclops escaped Yavin IV by building a makeshift starship out of wreckage, including pieces from the first Death Star and the remains of Anakin Skywalker's Azure Angel. At that time, there was a communications shed outside the village of Vornez, where an unidentified New Republic technician worked, sometimes communicating with a New Republic spotter called Munk.[2]
