Star Wars ReExpanded:Projects

This article lists wiki-wide content improvement initiatives ("projects"). Some projects require the creation of new articles; others are focused on improving existing content, or making backend changes to the wiki.

Current projects

Content

• "The Great Synchronization" project (commenced on December 31, 2024): An initiative to create substantive articles for all content on the Timeline.

Backend

• "ReExpanded Wiki User Experience" project (TBD): A project created to improve the ReExpanded Wiki's usability, accessibility, and user experience.
• "ReExpanded Wiki Article improvement" project (TBD until MyWikis admins actually answer Wayne's emails): This project aims to facilitate the creation (or import) of modules, templates, and extensions to improve article content.
• "ReExpanded Wiki Designers" project (TBD): An initiative to encourage user submission of logos, backgrounds, maps, and other files.

Miscellaneous

• "ReExpanded Maps" project (TBD): This project aims to create comprehensive maps of the Star Wars universe for eras where none exist.

Completed projects

• "ReExpanded Timeline auditing" project (completed March 28, 2025): The Chroniclers implemented more stringent standards for accepting stories into the ReExpanded project, and also pruned the timeline of stories that had not been read by more than one user. A review process requiring three readers and their subsequent written critiques/overviews was launched to foster more engagement with the project.
