Lowbacca

Lowbacca was the nephew of the legendary Chewbacca. He was discovered to be Force sensitive and was sent to Yavin IV to train under Luke Skywalker. There he befriended Jacen and Jaina Solo.

Grandmaster

Following the death of Grandmaster Ben Skywalker, Lowbacca was selected take on the mantle as leader of the New Jedi Order. One of the most experienced Jedi at the time while also still in his physical prime due to his Wookiee physiology, many thought he was the logical choice.
